The Safe AQ Air Glucometer utilises the most advanced enzyme technology available in the glucose monitoring market: GDH-FAD (FAD-GDH). This enzyme effectively eliminates interference from 74 endogenous and exogenous substances, including simple sugars (such as maltose, galactose, and fructose) and common medications (such as ampicillin, penicillin, ibuprofen, and ascorbic acid).

Additionally, the Safe AQ Air Glucometer’s innovative enzyme technology allows for testing not only with fingerstick blood samples but also with blood drawn from alternative sites (AST) and even venous blood samples. This versatility makes the Safe AQ Air Glucometer suitable for hospital use, where it can serve as a primary diagnostic tool in clinical settings.

2What does error code E-3 mean on this device?

There are four main reasons will cause this error message ,such as incorrect test method,used test strip ,expired test strip or damped test strip ,test strip exposed to air more than 3 minutes.

5This machine gave me 3 very different readings (with 3 different strips) in one minute. I am doing something wrong?

Hello, please follow the below steps and try again:

  1. When using the blood glucose meter to measure, make sure that the second drop of blood flows out and then start to absorb and measure with the test strip.
  2. During the test, did you pinch your fingers hard? We recommend that when collecting blood, push it from the finger near the palm to the finger for blood collection.
  3. When using the test strip to collect blood, is it full at one time? You can see if the white part of the test strip is full.
  4. Does the test strip absorb blood correctly? You need to place your finger on the top suction port of the test strip, not on the side. When the suction port turns red, it means that a blood sample has been collected. (Do not drip onto the test paper)
  5. Is blood collected only when the alcohol evaporates?

When taking blood, you need to wait for the alcohol to evaporate before giving the needle injection.

6Do you have any memories of past reading? Still have an app?

Yes, it will record the results of your previous measurements.

7I can not turn the device on.

Please replace the battery (confirm the batteries are correctly installed with the right position of sign “+” and “-”)and insert the test strip, the meter will turn on automatically in most cases.

8Can you use the test strips for more than once?

No, you can't. It's just for one-time use.

9Do these test strips work with another brand

No, they do not. Safe AQ Air test strips can only be used with Sinocare Safe AQ Air blood glucose monitor, and it can not work with devices in other brands.

10What do code-free strips mean?

Code-free strips are already ready to use out-of-the-box, while with the non-coded ones, you have to enter a code into the glucometer.

11What are the expiry date of the blood sugar strips?
The expiry date of the blood sugar strips is 24 months, and the period after opening is 6 months.
12The needle doesn't come out when I press the button, is the device defective or am I doing something wrong?

Please put the item in the top pull back at the bottom twice and then push the release to stab the finger you need the maximum gear. If this doesn’t work yet, it may be defective.

13What number do I set lancet to so I have enough blood for testing strip?

Set number 4 if your finger’s skin is soft, and higher if it’s thick or calloused. If you’ve just started, try a couple of different settings to find the most suitable numbers for you. You don't need a lot of blood but a clear drop seems to be sucked more easily than blood that's spread.

14It's quite painful when I apply my blood sample.

Please twist the adjustable comfort tip to adjust the puncture depth.If your finger skin is thin and soft, you can set a lower gear of the lancet pen.

15How do I use the lancing pen?
  1. Unscrew the lancing device cover;
  2. Insert a lancet into the lancing device until it comes to a full stop;
  3. Twist and pull to remove the lancet protector. Retain the lancet protector for safe lancet disposal;
  4. Screw the lancing device cover back on;
  5. Twist the adjustable comfort tip to adjust the puncture depth;
  6. Pull the spring cover back to arm the lancing device;
  7. Make sure the lancing device is pressed firmly to your finger, then press the button to the lancet.
16Can you get longer lancets?

All of our lancets lengths are the same as yours.

You can twist the adjustable comfort tip to adjust the puncture depth.

When you replace the end cap, you shouldn't see the lancet and that's for the safety of the customer.

And when you apply a blood sample, you need to place the tip firmly against the finger with the other hand, and then press the trigger button, so the lancet will trigger quickly to puncture your finger tip."
